On October 27th, 2016 We said goodbye to our dear sweet Dundee. It has taken me months to be able to post this devastating loss to our family. Dundee was only 8 1/2 years old and had only been part of our family for a little over 4 years. The time we had with him was just not enough. My heart is still shattered and we miss him every single day. He is still with us in heart and spirit but our home is definitely lacking his sweet face. He was my shadow, went to work with me in my truck everyday. My office is still and empty without him. He appeared very healthy until a few days before we said goodbye. He began to "cough" and his breathing became labored within days. Xrays revealed he either had lung cancer or a fungal infection in his lungs. We would not subject him to seperation from us for testing when he was obviously struggling to breathe and we could not let him suffer. With Charlie and I by his side he peacefully left to move to heaven. A piece of us left with him. I love you and miss you so much my sweet boy. |
We are so thankful for the 3 litters of puppies we were blessed with from Boston and Dundee. Together they gave us 27 beautiful puppies and we are grateful that we get to watch Dundee live on in the lives of these babies. He always LOVED when we had puppies. He was an awesome Dad and just an overall one of a kind newf. |
